Aesolo

The shadows coalesce and from them steps forth a being. He is short, yet lithe and graceful. Those who know me call me Aesolo. Some would say I serve the shadow, but I would say the shadow serves me. Where I came from originally is a distant memory, swallowed up by ages past and is really irrelevant at this point. I have seen ages come and ages go, dictators and tyrants come to power only to be overthrown by different dictators and different tyrants. I have seen the births and deaths of the leaders of nations and it all passes as the blink of an eye. Only one thing remains constant in the life of an Inquisitor. The question. I serve the Barony of Karathos with all the soul I have left to give. Always seeking answers, and advising the best course of action to the best of my ability. It is said that a tragedy has occurred if a single piece of knowledge is lost, so I make it my duty to gather knowledge and preserve it. I have returned to the Kingdoms of Kirganthis, a relic of a lost age, a myth so obscure that some know not of the story it came from. Looking around many things have changed, but there are some things that always remain the same. I shed my former garments to blend in with my current surroundings. To Serve. To watch. To learn. The heron flies high, long may it remain so. |
