Agaethis Thalario

|
Many, many moons ago, in the forests of Kisah, an elven boy was born to two, hard-laboring parents. Living in the treetops of the forest and not having much to live on, little Agaethis was put to hard work in order to keep the family alive. Every elven day from sunrise to sunset, Agaethis set about foraging for food, retrieving water, and bringing every thing necessary for life to exist back to his family. This continued for many years, and Agaethis began to learn the ways of the forest, of nature, and his pace in which he did these tasks began to quicken. It wasn't until one day, however, that he really encountered any trouble. While he was out hunting and practicing his weaponry, he spotted a group of ogre's and goblin's running through the forest. He quickly blended into the trees, and unseen, watched the group of foreigners. To his horror, the group began to set fire to and harvest the trees. Not being much on his own, he took off back towards his house to find his parents hanging from the treetops. He stared at them for a while..motionless....as a tear ran down his face. That expression soon gave way to one of placidness... His eyes began to look oddly-hollow, and his blue hair seemed dull. He unsheathed his scimitar, and headed off towards where he saw the group. They, however, had taken off, and were no where to be found. And so Agaethis wept for days, weeks, at the loss of his parents. For some odd reason, however, he remains (publically, at least) charming and light-hearted. |
