Angelista

Angelista, what can be said of this woman who came from seemingly no where to own the Ravens Gazette? Well first of all she was born to quite a happy family, one with love and full of happiness. Her father was human, for the most part at least. He was 3/4 human and 1/4 elf. His name was Kailtarn Razeil. Her mother was a beautiful woman, for a human of course. They lived in the south of Kirganthis as merchants within Riverdale. They made enough gold to keep Angelista in a lifestyle that would call her slightly snobbish, but also quite educated.

Angelista took up writing as a hobby as it was not exactly something her parents thought would become a very lucrative trade. So she began with a simple diary that held more fiction than truth. She enjoyed the little time she was given to this as her studies began to grow more as her adulthood neared. Upon her sixteenth birthday she was sent to the mage academy where she had little to no time to write, but much to realize she truly enjoyed the magical abilities and scrolls she was learning to understand. Two natural given gifts this girl was given, but would she learn to combine both of these strengths to bring her closer to her dreams to become a well published writer? She thought so as she graduated from the academy she began furiously to begin work on polishing her writing. She wrote a fictional book which got her know where, which devastated her to no means. So she began wandering the lands making lucrative deals. Along the way she met many various people and heard many wondrous stories. She'd memorize them best she could and carry them on to the next village to tell the tales to the children.

One day she traveled to this town close to Stonegate who were just bursting with joy after she had told her tales during her travels. One woman approached telling her how they didn't hear much of what happened outside their village and wondered if she would come back from time to time to tell them of all that was happening. She of course agreed, but this made her think of all the other cities and villages she had traveled through. How they all had stories, yet knew not of the happenings outside their own village or city. This is where the Ravens Gazette begins.....

Angelista upon her travels had gathered much gold, enough to keep her in luxury for sometime. So she set her magical abilities to the side for a time as she began to gather information for her Gazette. She couldn't find any other scribes to aid her, none seemed interested until one day she had a thought to purchase a belt of great power. She set to work designing her scrolls and sent one out, her first to the lands. A contest, one which would give the belt as a prize to the most news worthy story in the lands. It struck much attention, exactly what she needed. Many stories and columns came in, but one stood out. Sabriel Hydra and his story of necromancers rising within the lands. And so then she gained not only publicity, but a friend and a cohort. One none knew of, and perhaps never shall.

Angelista now resides within the protection of the Ravens fold within Riverdale. She visits her family regularly, but her relationship with Sabriel grows quite distant. Her gazette still runs, but for how long? Will a duchy find her words to brass, will her greed for publicity cause her to fall? Will her greed for luxury cause her to loose sight of what it was she began and why? The old saying, Time will tell all. And so it is left here waiting for the future to come to pass. See you there.

The Raven.
