Beriel Donlan. The moody elven albino who also happens to be not very nice. He grew up in a privileged home, one that was in fact that of a minor elven lord. He was almost totally ignored by his father (who was often too busy arguing with one of Beriel's brothers), but was very close to his mother. He found himself to be bored very often, and turned to wine, women, and songs, not necessarily in that order.

He left many a father very angry with him, but he didn't care. His only problem was that he could not stand being in direct sunlight for very long, thanks to his albinism. Unlike most with his condition, however, Beriel was born with dark, crystal blue eyes that stayed that way into his adult life. When he got bored again, he turned to perfecting his body and skills, which got him substantial respect among other elven fighters.

Beriel lived a relatively uneventful life until his mother died. After that he became a very, very angry person. He had several large, violent conflicts with his father, and eventually left his home in a rage after selling his father's entire stable and stealing the safe in his father's room by hauling it out of the wall. After that, he wandered around Kirganthis aimlessly, making money and selling out his services as a mercenary.

He spent a brief period of incarceration while he was in Karathos for killing several guards who tried to argue with him. Beriel has also displayed a very low tolerance for anyone who is not an elf, and has been known to attack goblins and the like on sight without any warning. All in all, he's not exactly the nicest guy around.
